Today I am doing the Summer Learning Journey's Week 2 Day 1 Activity 1. The theme for Week 2 is I have a Dream... Politician and Activist. The Summer Learning Journey, is a program that helps children keep track of their learning during the holidays. I am glad that my school is participating in the Summer Learning Journey because, I can get more blog post and learn about all sorts of different things. The theme for this year is "Change-makers"

For this activity we were asked to list five things that you like to do. I have listed five things that I like to do in this slide that I have created. I have also added images.

Today I am doing the Summer Learning Journey's Day 5 Activity 3. The Summer Learning Journey is a program that helps children keep track of their learning during the holidays. I am glad that my school is participating in the Summer Learning Journey because that means I can get my blog post higher and learn about different things. My school has been the top school for the Summer Learning Journey for four years, so I hope that we can be on top of our game this year.

For this activity we were asked to chose a person that is a change maker and talk about them. It had to include: That persons name, What they do and how they impact others. Swimming to Safety/Yursa Mardini | Summer Learning Journey Week 1 Day 5 Actvity 2

L.I to retell the story of Yusra Mardini.
Today I am doing the Summer Learning Journey's Day 5 Activity 2. the Summer Learning Journey is a program that helps children keep track of their work. I am so glad that my school is participating in the Summer Learning Journey because that means that I can get more blog post and Learn about cool different things. For this activity we were asked to retell the of a young woman named Yursa Mardini. She is currently a 21 year old girl and was a member of the Refugee Olympic Athletes team.

In 2015 when she was about 18 years old. Yursa and her older sister flew to Europe to find safety from the Syrian War. After fifteen minutes of her sea crossing the engine broke down. Yursa, her sister and two other's managed to save 20 people's lives by swimming.

Today I am doing the Summer Learning Journey's Day 4 Activity 3 . The Summer Learning Journey is a program that helps children keep track of their learning during the holidays. I am glad that my school is participating in the Summer Learning Journey this year because that means I can get my blogging status higher and learn about different things. For this activity we were asked to create a brochure about Tonga. A brochure is information document. Tonga is a small island in the Southern Hemisphere. I am glad that my school is participating in the Summer Learning Journey because that means that I can get my blog post to a higher number and learn more about things.

For this activity we were asked to imagine if we would have chance to change our name what would it be. The name would be Oceana. I like this name because I really like the Ocean and the color it brings.

Today I am doing the summer Learning Journey Day 4 Activity 1. The SUmmer LEarning JOurney is a programme that helps children keep track of their learning during their holidays. I am glad that my school is taking part in this program because I can get more blog post and learn about different types of things.

For this activity, we were asked to watch a video about Serena and Venus. Serena and Venus Williams are professional tennis players. We had to find three things that I had learnt from the video's.

What I had Learnt:

• I had learn that Serena and Venus Williams had fought their way to get woman recognized. 
• Serena Williams made 84 million dollars. 
• The William Sisters are continuing to break barriers in sports.
