Dad's iphone

Dad’s iphone
My Dad has lost his iphone again.
They’re not on the shelf.
He say’s if we don’t find his iphone soon we’ll all be late for sure.

My dad has lost his iphone again.
A huge hunt is on.
We’ve cleaned the living room and the laundry room.
Who knows where they have gone?

My dad has lost his iphone again.
We’ve looked in the kitchen twice.
The angry look on dads face now is really not that nice.

My dad has lost his iphone again.
There’s no place we won’t look.
My brother searched but only found his soccer ball.

My dad has lost his iphone again.
I’ve tidied the bathroom too.
No iphone in the shower, and no iphone on the table.

My dad has lost his iphone again.
Now mum begins to look.
Success at last.
She’s found it in her bag.

Re used- rubbish
“It is too early to get out of this comfortable bed,”I say to myself.
“Come and eat your breakfast!”yells mum and dad. I push off the duvet covers and drag myself down to the kitchen.
Then I hear my mum scream. “What is wrong with her now?” I wondered as I stuffed another spoon of cornflakes down. When I looked out into the driveway my mum was still screaming.

“Mum, stop screaming we can reuse all these cans,” I suggest.
“How ?” she barks.
“We could make some plant holders.”
“Mum get some soil from the compost bin, and dad get the paint from the shed.” I  like being in command for a change.

First I put the soil into the cans and plant vegetable seeds into them. Dad decorates the cans with blue paint. My dad loves the Auckland Blues so he always chooses blue for all his painting work.

A few months have passed and we now get to eat the vegetables I planted. I feel very pleased with my effort because I prevented those cans from going to the landfill.

Heating water

During this lesson I learned what happens to water when it is heated. When water is heated it evaporates as steam. It then cooled on the sides. This is condensation. The water then came back down. This is called precipitation.
