L.I Research a New Zealander who has a positive attitude despite difficulties they have faced.
Sir edmund Hillary by Sulia Pepa

To achieve and recieve my Gold Attitude Badge, I was required to Research a New Zealander who has a positive attitude despite difficulties they have faced. I chose to Research Sir Edmund Hillary. Sir Edmund Hillary is well known for being one of the first peopleto climb mt everest or to reach the highest peak(along side is partner Tenzing Norgay).

I chose Hillary because it must've been a hard journey climbing up mt everest, especially if death was just around the corner, He and Tenzing Norgay never stopped and kept on going.

I really enjoyed doing this task because I could see how much Edmund Hillary had an impact on New Zealand and, especially the world; I hope to be as influencial one day.

L.I Create a DLO on how to stand up to bullies.

To achieve my Gold Confidence Badge, I was required to create a DLO of how to stand up to bullies. bullying is intimidating or harming someone negatively.(physically, verbally & cyberbullying). bullying is very distracting and traumatising no matter the circumstances, and no body should ever go through bullying; this is why i chose to create a DLO on how to stand up to bullies. I created 5 ways, which is setting goals, self worth, surrounding yourself with positive energy, realise your bullies are insecure and talk to someone trustworthy.

I really enjoyed doing this activity, as I was able to spread my ways of standing up to bullies.

For me to complete and achieve my Gold attitude badge; in this activity, I was required to enter a inter-school competition. The Inter-school that I have participated in is Netball. I have really enjoyed participating in Netball, as it has help me stay fit and active. I also love the sport for how it is played and the passion I show for it. I have really enjoyed this season, and how it is going. Netball has taught me so many things, such as discipline and self-control. It has also given me the opportunity to become more active, which i'm grateful for.

The Position that I play is Goal Shoot, Wing Attack and Goal Attack. Goal shoot, is the main shooter. Wing Attack is not allowed to shoot, but supports the GA & GS. Goal Attack, is exactly like the Goal Shoot, but is just allowed to go into more thirds(parts of the courts).

My goals in Netball is to become more accurate in my shooting and to have good sportsmen-ship towards the other team.
