Discovering Aotearoa | Summer Learning Journey Week 1 Day 1 Activity 2

L.I to explain your family culture background. Today I am doing the Summer Learning Journey's, second activity of day one. The Summer Learning Journey is a program that helps children keep up with their learning during the summer holidays. We were asked to explain our family background culture, by marking the places where your family member's are from.

  1. Hi Suliai, this is Mrs Collins from Manaiakalani and I'll be commenting on blogs over term break. Well done on posting and participating in the SLJ this year. I'd really like to see the map you've posted onto your blog about your family culture but I need permission to view - could you please change the settings so that anyone can view your learning... Keep blogging, and commenting on others, to increase your chance of winning one of the awesome prizes and to keep up your learning over the school break!

  6. Hola Sulia! Wow, I really enjoyed exploring your different cultures on the map. I like how you did this activity, except I'd love to know more detail about your background. What are some of your favorite things about each cultures? I'm half Tongan, and I love our language, food, and traditional dances. Nice job!
