Summer Learning Journey is a program that can help children keep track of there learning over the summer holidays. 2. Malo elelei Sulia,

My name is Mani and I am going to be joining you on the Summer Learning Journey as a blog commenter. I am so excited that you are joining us for the Summer Learning Journey 2019-2020.

This year I am so excited that I get to read over the Manaiakalani blogs, especially because I had the pleasure of visiting your school over the past few weeks! I am really looking forward to summer, aren't you? In my spare time I like spending time with my family and hanging out with my friends. I also love to exercise and write songs in my spare time. I see your favourite hobby is Rugby, do you have a favourite rugby team or favourite rugby player? I support the Auckland Blues and my favourite rugby player is Ardie Savea. Also its so cool that your Dad played for the Tongan rugby team, my Dad also played and captained the Tongan rugby team! I wonder if they played together.

Well done on completing your first activity for the Summer learning journey. I think you picked a great list of food items, my favourite is honey because I love sweet things. What's yours? I thought you were really clever in including canned foods because they last long right! By adding some bright colours or a few pictures of the food items to your blog post I think it would really catch people’s attention.

I look forward to reading more of your blog posts Sulia, keep up the good work! :)

    Malo,
    Mani

  4. Hello Sulia! You've made a strong start to the Summer Learning Journey. I really like this list you've put together in this activity...These are all some really smart items, being food that don't go bad or are hard to put together, and things that can be easily stored. I think sauces and spices was a great idea! Good job!
