L.I Describe the life in New Zealand.
New Zealand is a great place. We have clean air we breath in and trees in New Zealand that have not been found in other countries. One of New Zealand most famous building is the Sky tower. The sky tower is a great place for you to celebrate Christmas. In New Zealand When it is Christmas they decorate most of the tower. At night when the lights lit up We go there to take photos, meet Santa and of course Rudolph the red nose reindeer. Some of my favorite things living in New Zealand is the Food. One of our most common foods are meat pies. Meat pies are pies with meat in it. There are different types. If you don't come from New Zealand and don't know that much about New Zealand  check out this site.

Summer learning Journey Living on The edge

Kia Ora Fau,
I hope you have been able to read this. Here in Tundra it is pretty cold. It is also dry and it is treeless. Tundra is a really interesting place because There are things that I didn't know really existed like a animals for example a lemming. This animal is pretty cute. A lemming is a small rodent which is normally found near Tundras biomes. I also noticed that they can change there coat to white so that they could hide snow, That's pretty cool right. Did you know that Polar bears come to
Tundra in Summer so that they can have babies. That's a cool fact.
Hope You could experiment this one day Fau.

L.I to give a note to your family Member or friend about your experiment in Tundra.
For this Summer Learning Journey activity we had made a letter to a Friend or a family member. I sent a note to My cousin Fau. I hope she read this note. We had to write a note about how Experiment was in Tundra. Tundra is a place where it is Treeless and dry. Tundra is a pretty cold place and unique.

Summer Learning Journey Towering Timbers

L.I is to tell weather you would not like logging.
For this Summer learning Journey Activity we had to talk about logging. Logging is cutting down trees to make buildings for our future. I had to talk to you guys if I think logging is allowed. I think that logging shouldn't be allowed. Here are my reasons. This is my opinion on what I think. If you dis agree with what I said you guys can comment what you guys think or if you agree with me you can think of another reason why logging shouldn't be allowed.

  1. My first reason is about oxygen. If loggers take trees down there won't be enough oxygen.
  2. My next reason is about animals. If loggers take down nature they are taking down most of the animals homes.

Summer learning Journey | Fries

L.I to choose your favorite food.
For this Summer learning journey activity we had to tell what our favorite food is. My favorite food is Fries. I love to eat fries because it taste so salty and nice. Here is how you can make fries. I got this from all recipes the site. We make fries at home using these ingredients.
  1. Soak potatoes in a large bowl of water for about 30 minutes. Pat dry thoroughly with paper towels.
  2. Heat oil in a deep-fryer or large saucepan to 275 degrees F (135 degrees C). Gently add the potatoes in the hot oil for about 5 minutes, stirring and flipping the potatoes occasionally. Remove potatoes from oil with a slotted spoon to drain on paper towel and to cool completely.
  3. Heat oil in a deep-fryer or large saucepan to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Fry the potatoes again until golden brown, 5 to 6 minutes. Blot with a paper towel. Sprinkle with salt to serve.

Summer learning journey WWF

L.I is to learn about WWF.
For this Summer Learning Journey activity I have been watching short clips of WWF. WWF is a community that helps earth and living things alive. The Animal that they are working on to save is the Saimaa ringed seals. They are one of the most endangered animals because they live underground where it snows. What they are doing to save this animal is making snow banks. IF the WWF did not make snow banks the seals would be in a lot of danger.
