MOTAT Trip

L.I to learn about technology and transport.
Panmure Bridge Had the Opportunity to go to MOTAT(Museum of Technology and Transport). We had first went into the Mind Lab where we had met our Guides Ema, Kenza and Damion. Our Class(LS1) Got to go explore around the Exhibitions at MOTAT. We had went to an Telecommunication Exhibition. In this Exhibition was a lot of telephones that were still working surprisingly. We could also call the other person that was on the telephone. We had went into the Innovators. In this Place was more Exhibitions about New Zealand Inventors. It Included Peter Beck, from Rocket Lab, Ian Taylor from Animation Research Limited and also a Spring-free trampoline. In the Spring-free trampoline, there was a trampoline where we had played a game. After This Innovators Exhibition we had to go back to the Mind Lab.

When we had got back to the Mind Lab we had Made Some Electric Cars with Kenza. The Materials that we needed to get was Skewers(Axle), Scissors, Tape, Cardboard, Motor and a propeller. The Goal was to make this car go fast. My partner Charlize was working on the wheels and axles and I was working on the base of the car. We did not succeed this challenge.

After this challenge we had learnt how to make a Flashlight using LED lights. my group was Charlize, Juel and I. The Materials that we needed was LED light, Stoppers, Axles and connect blocks. This was also not Successful.

I had enjoyed this trip to MOTAT because I got to learn and experience items from the olden days.

Smart Searching | Cybersmart

L.I to use keywords for better searching.
Keywords are words that are the most important words about the topic. In Cybersmart We had searched with Keywords about Komodo. We had three questions that we had to search about KD. We also had to link two websites that we got that information from.

How to Persuade | Writing

L.I What is Persuasion.
Persuade means to change somebody's mind. In Mr Ogilvies, we had created a poster that shows how to persuade someone.  We had also watched a video of kid president talking about How To Disagree With People.

Basic Facts Boxes | Can Do

L.I to remember basic facts.
Today I have decided to do Basic Facts boxes. Basic Facts Boxes is a google spreadsheet full of basic facts where we have to fill it in with, the answers to those basic facts. I have chosen to do Challenge 1. which is Speed Demon. Here is the slide for proof.

Mixed times Tables

L.I to manage finances and profit by creating with math's.

Mr Wong's we are working as employed or as companies to earn some money. You can earn money by doing math's activities like, making a game about basic addition facts. For the first week I have finished off two activities with Fau. The first Activity that I had finished of was a times tables game. The second activity that I had finished was Basic Subtraction Facts up to 20.

First session of Swimming | Kiwi Sport

L.I to learn how to swim.
Every Thursday for Kiwi Sport, We are going to the panmure, Lagoon Pools to take Swimming Lessons. Our Instructors Livvvy and Elizabeth. I'm in Livvy's group. In the Pool, we had to get a swimming board and swim to the other black platform. After that we had to make a straddle shape and swim to the other platform. We then had to do arm strokes for four times.

Kiwi Can

L.I to learn how to express your emotions. 

Emotions is what you feel and your expression. For Kiwi Can, our topic is Emotions and Our theme is Resilience. Our greetings for this Week was Aloha, This comes from Hawaii. Our Activity was Emotion Disco. We had did this for both games but it was a little different. For the first time we had played it, we had gotten to a group of four or three, Then we had to pick an instrument and play it with an emotion. After this round we had talked more about emotions. We had then had another round but we had did it as a class. One person had to put on headphones and had to guess what emotion that the class was making.
