Stretching a simple sentence

1.The dog is asleep. [ a simple sentence]

2.The white dog is asleep.[ I added an adjective]

                                     noun

3.The white dog is asleep at the park.[I added where the dog is]

4.The white dog is asleep at the park, and he’s snoring. [ I added a connecting word to make a compound sentence]

1.I like my book.

2.I like my chapter book, and I will read it before I go to sleep.

Today I was learning how to stretch out a simple sentence and make it in to a compound sentence.

How to make a vertical garden

How to make a Vertical garden

If you follow these instructions you will successfully make a vertical garden.

You will need:

• A plastic bottle          
• Water
• Compost
• String
• Bottle
• Bottle lid
• Herbs
• Scissors
• Hole punch

               

                                    Method

1 Plan your vertical garden with your team.

2 Cut the bottom of your plastic bottle.

3 Make a hole on the sides of the bottle.

4 Tie the strings through the holes.

5 Close the mouth of the bottles with a lid.

6 Put the soil and compost in to the bottle.

7 Plant the herb in the bottle.

8 Hang up your vertical garden.

9 Water your plant

Today I was learning to think of adverbs to bescribe a bird,dog and babies.

The thing I enjoyed most was balancing on the beam. My favourite game was 4 corners.	It was hard to do cartwheels because my hands had to be straight. It was also hard to do forward and backward rolls.	Gymnastics taught me to become more flexible and fit.It also helped me to work as a group.
