As we are doing Home Learning, we are exploring Aotearoa. For our home learning part of our learning is challenges is the LS2 Learning Journey. This is where we explore parts of NZ. We get to pick a place of our choice. The place that I have chosen today was The Auckland Harbour bridge.
I am a Year 8 student at Panmure Bridge School in Auckland, NZ. I am in Learning Space 2 and my teachers are Mrs Anderson and Mrs Fisi'iahi.

Hi Sulia
ReplyDeleteI have enjoyed reading our DLO about the Auckland Harbour Bridge, it's always interesting to find out a bit of the history behind the structure. I can remember when you had to join a queue to pay the toll to get over the bridge. That was really annoying in busy times because you had to wait a long time to get through the toll booths. Some bridges still have this today. See if you can find an example of another country that uses tolls to pay to cross the bridge. Your comparison with Sydney Harbour Bridge shows us they are both around 1000 in length. Please go back and add in which unit of measure this is.
