Hiwi the Kiwi fishing for the future

L.I To be a responsible in the sea and when fishing.
Today Panmure Bridge School had an awesome experience with hiwi the kiwi. The Minstrel and Mrs Minstrel had came into our school to represent hiwi the kiwi.

We had first learnt about Legal Fish size. This when fishers have a ruler and measure a fish. If the fish is smaller than its usual size, the fishers would have to put the fish back into the sea because it is a baby. We had next learnt about safety of life jackets. It is safe to wear life jackets because there has been a lot of accidents happening like people falling into the sea. When fishing we should also pick up plastic because it harms the sea life and to also help birds. A tip is to wash the fish in salt ice to make it more tasty! You should also pick up a fish with a wet towel so the scale doesn't come of and you wouldn't want your hands smelling like fish.

We had listened to what the Minstrel, Did some challenges and sang some songs. After this we had answered some questions to see if we had listened.
