Maori Challenge no2

LI: Design a Kowhaiwhai pattern for our Te Reo Blog.

This is a Traditional Kowhaiwhai Pattern. A Kowhaiwhai pattern is a traditional pattern used to tell stories.

The meaning behind my kowhaiwhai patterns represent Rangi and Papa. The Heart represent Rangi and the Koru represent Papa.

The small dots represent the children that they have had.

  1. Kia Ora Sulia, I love your modern take on kowhaiwhai patterns. I really enjoy the Maori creation story so I like how that was your motivation behind your design. Where did you get your idea from?
